我有爱尔兰诗人W.B.yeats的几首诗,
  The Folly Being Comforted
  One that is ever kind said yesterday:
  "You well-beloved's hair has threads of grey,
  And little shadows come about her eyes;
  Time can but make it easier to be wise
  Though now it seems impossible,and so
  All that you need is patience."
  Heart cries,"No,
  I have not a crump of comfort,not a grain.
  Time can but make her beauty over again:
  Because of that great nobleness of hers.
  The fire that stirs about her,when she stirs,
  Burns but more clearly.O she had not these ways
  When all the wild summer was in her gaze."
  O heart!O heart!if she'd but turn her head,
  you'd know the folly of being comfored.
  她的眼睛里也浮现了阴影;
  The Wild Swans At Coole
  The trees are in their autumn beauty,
  the woodland oaths are dry,
  under the october twilight the water
  mirrors a still sky;
  Upon the brimming water among the stones
  Are nine-and-fifty swans.
  The nineteenth autumn has come upon me
  Since i first made my count:
  i saw ,before i had well finished,
  All suddenly mount
  And scatter wheeling in great broken rings
  upon their clamorous wings.
  i have looked upon those brilliant creatures,
  And now my heart is sore.
  All's changed since I,hearing at twilight,
  The first time on their shore,
  The bell-beat of their wings above my head,
  trod with a lighter tread.
  Unwearied still,lover by lover,
  They paddle in the cold
  Companionable streams or climb the air;
  Their hearts have not grown old;
  passion or conquest,wander where they will,
  Attend upon them still.
  but now they drift on the still water,
  mysterious,beautiful;
  Among waht rushes will they build,
  by what lake's edge or pool
  delight men's eyes when I waake some day
  to find they have flown away?
  dry:it is a metaphor,implying taht his poetical passion is drying out.
  still:calm,implying that the poet is no longer passionate.
  rings:circles.
  trod...terad:it refers to the way the poet walked when he was younger.
  they paddle...still; it implies that the poet's heart is growing old.
  水面映照着宁静的天空;
  溪流中散布,或者飞向天空;
  它们的心依然年轻;
  神秘而又美丽;
