暑假是学生们休息的好日子,有趣的事当然也不少.今天早晨,外婆一大早就兴高采烈地起了床,说要做白糖汤圆.听她这么一说我也兴奋起来,一骨碌从床上翻了起来.
白糖汤圆是自己亲手包的吃起来自然也比外面买的好吃.外婆先准备好做汤圆的工具,面粉、盆、白糖、一小碗水.开始做了,外婆先在盆里撒上面粉再加少许水,进行搅拌,搅拌均匀后用手抓起一小团面,乒乓球大小.用手把取出的面团搓圆,再在面团的中心位置掐下去,呈现凹形.在用两旁的中指将面团两边围好.最后一步是最重要的,也是最简单的,将适量的白糖撒入面团内.看了这么久,终于我开始完成我的第一个作品了,第一个圆子因为最后的封口不太熟悉,所以看起来很像汤包.越往后越熟练了,我的速度开始加快.谁知我一口吃个大胖子没吞下去,将味精看成了白糖撒了进去,到后来吃的时候才发现.
哎呀,热腾腾的汤圆好了,我先盛上一碗递给外婆,又盛上一碗递给妈妈,最后也给自己盛上一碗.第一口下去,可把我吓坏了,本因甜甜的陷怎么这么咸?赶忙跑到厨房一看原来是味精呀.虽然误把味精当成了白糖,但前面包的汤圆被妈妈夸奖了.我心里就像吃了蜜一样甜,有说不出的滋味.这件事也让我明白了,学习也是如此不能走捷径,要一步一个脚印,脚踏实地.

Summer holiday is good for students to have a rest and many interesting things happened. This morning, my grandma got up early in order to make the dumplings with sugar. I was so excited that I got up at once.
The dumplings by hand tasted more delicious than the ones which were bought. After my grandma prepared tools, some flour, a pot, some sugar and a bowl of water, we began. First, she poured some flour into the pot, added some water and mixed it. Then I took a small dough which was like a table tennis and made a hole on the dough. Finally, I put some sugar inside it. I finished my first works. As the saying goes, ”Practice makes perfect”, I went on making them quickly. However, I put some gourmet powder(味精) inside the dumplings instead of sugar.
How careless I was! After cooking them, I gave a bowl of dumplings to my grandma, my mum and myself. Too salty! What happened? Oh, I made mistakes. But my mum praised me. Heart as sweet as honey ate.
In my opinion, study is the same as making dumplings. We should be hardworking and more careful!
