There are three main differences betweeen Chinese education and American Education. My arguments for this point are listed as follows:
Firstly,Chinese education only focuses on grades, that is,if a student does well in his or her entrance examintion, than he or she will be admitted by high school. As time passing by,most of students misunderstands the reason why they should take the entrance examination. They don't know the effect of the entrance examination is just like the "highlighter",so the problem will be cuased next is that a lot of student loses themselves after the entrance examination. Some of them quickly plan for their future but it is too late. However,American tend to focus on the studetns' abilities. They want the students know "what is it" rather than "how to do it",that is,students should plan for their future very early, and all things they did in the rest of the middle school time are just for preparing the job in the future which is much more efficient than Chinese.
Secondly, because in China entrance examination is like "everything",so the students must spend all the time on preparing the entrance examination. They have little time to hold parties, they seldom go out for traveling and so forth...But don't we think it is unworthy?Just like American's point of view which is that to let students experience more. It's commonly acknowledged that in America teenagers will be kicked out after they reach their 18th.So the teenagers will know how to adapt to the society and how to get along well with others. So American are much more sociable than Chinese.
Lastly,American education is much more free than Chinese.Students can choose which class they want to take and which is the internship. What's more, students can choose class in different grade. If you are senior but your chemistry needs chanllenge, you can choose the sophormore class!Even you can retake a class next year, all the things are free.Chinese education, however,is forced students to take all the classes even though some of them are useless. In China, the students cannot take classes in different grade, they cannot retake either. All of them should obey the eductional organization, that is,the students have no right to choose class.

I think there are many differences between Chinese high school eduactional system and foreign high school educational system.
Firstly, foreigh hign schools emphasize to develop students' ability comprehensively including sports, arts, music sensibility and so on.However Chinese school pay more attention to students' academical grades and exams which I think it is not quite beneficial to a student very much. Moreover, forigh high school students can get more spare time than Chinese students which makes foreign teenagers be able to develp their other talents such as dancing, singing and drawing. But Chinese students could be very competitive in the world because of its eduactional difficulty and intensity.
Those mentioned above are my opinions of the differences between Chinese education and foreign education

In China, the senior secondary school education follows the junior secondary school phase. It includes academic senior secondary school, vocational senior secondary school and technical secondary school. Senior secondary school education in China is not part of compulsory education and students are required to pay tuition. The tuition fees vary with regional conditions, but generally it is in the range of a few thousand RMB per year.
Chinese students normally need to spend 3 years in senior secondary school. Their primary courses are: Chinese, Mathematics, Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and IT. Most Chinese senior secondary schools are public, however, because senior secondary school education is not a part of compulsory education, a number of private senior secondary schools have recently appeared.
Students who want to enter the senior secondary school from the junior program must take the entrance examination. Schools select the students based on their grades and motivation. The exams are administered by the local education offices, which also determine the base line for the selection. Currently, there are more than 30,000 senior secondary schools and 30,000,00 million secondary students in China. The enrollment rate in this age group is above 40%. The Chinese government has been working to improve and expand senior secondary school education for a growing number of students
