动词作主语的用法
非谓语动词可以作主语,如不定式,动名词,作主语时谓语常用单数.
一、动名词做主语：往往表示经常性、习惯性的动作，在口语中也表示具体的动作。如：
Seeing is believing.眼见为实。
Heling her is my duty.帮助她是我的责任。
二、动词不定式做主语：动词不定时为非谓语动词，做句中不能充当谓语，但是可以做主语，表语，宾语，定于和状语。动词不定式做主语主要分为两种：
（1）动词不定式直接做主语。

It is important to read English every morning.
It's our duty to take good care of the old.
It took us three days to arrive at the city we would visit .
前两个句子的句型为 It is + adj+ for sb /of sb+ to do sth. 如果形容词为difficult,easy,hard,important,impossible,necessary 等修饰动词不定式则用介词for；
如果形容词为careless,clever,good,foolish,honest,kind,lazy,nice,right,silly,stupid,wise等 修饰人则用介词 of .
It is easy for us to get lost in the city Beijing.
It is necessary for us to leave a good impression on others when we first met.
It is silly of us to believe him
It is clever of her to work out the problem in two minutes .
注意：系动词 seem, appear 也使用于此句型 It seems silly of us to believe him.
不定式做主语谓语动词用单数。 To be kind to the enemy is to be kind to the people
不定式做主语的时候往往用平行结构。（即前后形式一致，主语是不定式，表语也要用不定式；主语是动名词，表语也要用动名词。） To see is to believe . Seeing is believing .
