去掉这一句里面的两个the
but people are different year by year

应该是这样：
Flowers are the same year after year
but people are different year by year.
after 强调重复：年复一年（都一样）
by 强调变化：一年一年（的变化）
the没必要到处用，简洁为好。
Year after year the blossoms look alike, while people never remain the same.
就像上面说的。。。。
应该是 Flowers are the same year after year, but people are different year by year.
楼主要注意，这里是用复数形式来直接特指一类哦~
你看你前面就是直接用了flowers后面为什么不直接用people呢？
还有就是 same这个词前面一定...

还有就是 same这个词前面一定要有the但是different就不一样了，它是形容词，一般前面都没有the的。
嗯。。。但是 如果用形容词加s表示一类人的话就可以了哦。。。。比如 the olds 老人们 the poors穷人们。。等等啦~
而且这句话如果换种说法会更精彩哦~~~~
比如 把be动词换成别的一些动词啦~~~
remain来表状态， change来表改变的动作啦~
