i have kept a dog when i was young, and the little dog is very cute, it likes running around you. if i gave it a piece of beef then, he will lick me. but at last, it died because of genetic disease.
i kept parrots before. one of them was beaten by others, and hurt its head. my mom applied medication for it, and it never bite us after that, and it will get back even if it flying away to somewhere else.
that's why i think relation between human and animals is just like the relation between human ourselves, when you are kind to someone, he or she will treat you well too.
